Rocky Mountain Resources

So there are some key websites that I use to keep up with day to day lifestyle in Colorado.  Adjusting to a mile high took some research, and mostly, a lot of trial and error!

Cooking & Baking

Restaurants & Eateries

Hiking & Trails

Running

  •  For anything health and fitness, I recommend ramblen.co!  It was started by two amazing women who had the idea of staying fit while you travel.  For most major cities you can find trails,  healthy eateries, must do/see locations, and great activities!
  •  Running Guru (great for finding local races)
  •  Active.com for Runners (this has amazing articles and local updates)
  •  Runner’s World (a go-to for all things running!)
  •  Run Eat Repeat (LOVE this blog, and so relatable)
  •  Race Junkie (did I mention I love running tutus?  The BEST place for all adorable running accoutrement)

Running Apparel

  •  Under Armour (I did go to the University of Maryland, Alma Mater of the creator of Under Armour! GO TERPS!)
  •  Sports Authority (I have to respect the sponsor of the Broncos field at Mile High!)
  •  Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack (Nordy Rack in person has a great selection of last season active wear, and it’s fun to dig around- you never know what you will find!)
  •  Run Colorado (represent!)
  •  Boulder Running Company
  •  BOLDERBoulder Store
  •  Patagonia (best for cold weather running gear)
  •  Athleta (their gear is girly, chic, and oh-so comfortable!)

More of my little secrets to come!

  1. I just noticed that you linked to my blog here – thanks for the shout-out!!! I haven’t read The Minimalist Baker before, so I’m totally going to need to check out that blog. I like the sound of it!

    1. Well, my dear, you make scrumptious and delightful treats and desserts! The Minimalist Baker is great for vegan recipes with simple ingredients. I’ve gotten some great ideas, like a pumpkin French toast bake… mmmm delish!
